Preparing for your observing run

Target Assesment	Determine if your science target will use NGS or LGS. The following flow chart is an example of how to make that selection. Please check the actual current performance of NGS and LGS to make a final selection.

Logistics	4 weeks prior: Submit a Mainland Observing request by following the link on the observer login page. 2 weeks prior: Submit Lodging Reservation Request (VSQ) 3 business days prior: Submit your LGS starlist for clearance. This is a hard deadline as it is beyond WMKO control.
