The Focus Proceedure requires that the instrument rotator be unlocked. Once you have opened the Rotator Control Panel (shown below) from The Dashboard GUI, click the UNLOCK button. Later, before the dome opens, you will need to give DCS control of the rotator via the Allow DCS Control? pull-down. Throughout the night, the horizontal slider will indicate whether you are tracking near a rotator limit.
