Your data will be available to the observing program PI on the Keck Observatory Archive (KOA) in real-time during the observing run. Therefore, there is no need for you to download your data on your observing night, unless you wish to.
If you prefer to download the data from KOA using the file naming scheme used at the telescope, e.g. n0210.fits, instead of the KOA naming scheme, e.g. N2.20080908.19283.fits, you can do so by selecting the option "Non-unique filename, assigned at the telescope" on the KOA interface.
Your data can be downloaded in real-time from a browser-based user interface.
