OSIRIS Rectification Matrices

Background

The OSIRIS Data Reduction Pipeline (DRP) converts raw 2-d images into 3-d datacubes via rectification matrices (recmats). Recmats are created by combining 30 (broadband) or 62 (narrowband) calibration scans that illuminate a single column of lenslets.

We analyze the raw scans and finished recmats to ensure observers can trust the output of the DRP.
