the red polarimeter encoder so that you can remove
the module? (y/n) [y]:

- Using a 3/16 ball driver, reach through the trap door and
loosen, but do not remove, the
four allen screws from the front of LRIS , (two screws on top
and two on bottom) that reference the polarimeter. Alert: the screws are not captive! You
may have to rotate the polarimeter filter wheel to get to the
top right screw.
- Disconnect the four cables through the side access
door.
- Position yourself inside the module handler facing LRIS
rear, with the polarimeter storage box at your feet. Be careful not to touch the beamsplitter on
the back of the baseplate, the filter wheel in front, or the
field lens towards the rear of LRIS.
- Remove the polarimeter through the side access door
using the two handles and put it in the storage box.
- Tighten the four screws that define the polarimeter
baseplate against the LRIS frame in front of the field lens.
- Close the inner hatch door and using a 7/64 ball driver,
