The slitmask milling PC (slitmaskpc) may need rebooting if processes hang. This must be done as root on the machine. Follow this procedure to perform a reboot on slitmaskpc:

Use ssh to connect to slitmaskpc:
```
	ssh -l mask slitmaskpc
```
Become root by issuing the command su.
Type sync to synchronize the disks.
Type reboot to initiate a reboot.

Passwords for the two accounts are listed in the encrypted instrument password file.
