press "apply" to effect the changes.

Action Buttons
Start
Pressing this button will enable sound output. Upon
startup, the script will generate a sample noise on the
selected machine to indicate that it is working. If you
don't hear a sound within a few seconds, the program may not
be working. See "troubleshooting" tips below.
Apply
Apply new settings for sound type and/or host. In practice,
this means that the currently running shell script is killed
and a new one with changed parameters is started.
Stop
Interrupt generation of sounds. Use this button to
temporarily halt the sound output, while keeping the widget
alive.
Quit
Kill widget and associated programs. Use this button to
halt the sound output and destroy the widget.
