ARCPLOTS is an IDL6.0 routine written as a planning tool for spectroscopic observations. ARCPLOTS is also useful at the telescope when a quick line identification is desired. ARCPLOTS is available at the Keck Observatory for general use. This readme describes how to run ARCPlOTS on your local machine. ON UNIX or LINUX machines: If the local machine has IDL6.0 installed 1) start an IDL session 2) Restore the contents of the save file IDL> restore, 'arcplots.sav' 3) Run arcplots IDL> arcplots If IDL is currently unavailable 1) Down load and install the IDL Virtual Machine from the IDL Virtual Machine home page.
