This image was obtained on April 2nd, 1999, with the acquisition camera of the AO system. A enlarger optical set-up gave a pixel scale of 7.5 mas, and a narrow band filter (10 nm wide) was used. The star was magnitude 4.5 and the exposure time was short (10 ms). With the full width at half maximum as an indicator of resolution, this is possibly the sharpest image in the visible/near-infrared regime ever obtained.
