HIRES Characterization

Observe spectrophotometric standards to monitor new detector QE.
Study light path inside HIRES using night vision goggles and extremely
bright star such as Sirius.
Check focus and alignment of guider if it is re and re'd for maintenance. 6. Config:

7. Plan for data reduction, analysis, and reporting:
Count electrons per wavelength interval and calculate overall throughput.
Compare results to previously observed standards and post results on
HIRES web pages.
