Please complete these steps at the end of your night.
Shutdown MOSFIRE.
Terminate MOSFIRE windows from the MOSFIRE workspace menu via
MOSFIRE Control Menu -> End-of-Night shutdown
Remove starlist.
If it is important to keep your targets confidential, be sure to delete your starlist file. If it was changed, be sure you have saved a copy.
Print Electronic Log.
Two ways to retrieve a copy of our electronic log for your run: 1. Save or print a copy before leaving, following the instructions on the
KEOLA webpage
, or 2. Download a copy of the electronic log from the PI's observer login page.
Complete POC form.
Please complete a
Post Observing Comments form
to let us know how your run went. You responses to this form are logged and tracked and are important to us in maintaining and improving nighttime observing operations.
Log out.
Terminate your login sessions on all Remote Ops computers by right-clicking on the workspace menu and selecting
Logout
.
Take your stuff.
Before leaving remote ops, please be sure you have all your belongings and throw away any trash.
