Data Movement

You may wish to automatically copy your data from the summit disk to a scratch disk at HQ in Waimea to work on them during the night. To do so, right click on the background to open a pulldown menu, select HIRES Control Menu, then select Start cpHIRES. The data copying process will start immediately. Note the scratch disk directory to which the data will be copied. Alternatively, you can start autocopy by typing the command "cpHIRES" at a lehoula prompt.

If you wish to transfer your data electronically, follow these procedures.

After your run is over, check out the Keck Observatory Archive (KOA) to access your data.
