How It Works

When the user clicks the Initialize Instrument button on the ESI dashboard, the GUI executes a ktest called ESIinit. The code for this test lives in the file:

/u/kics/cvs/kroot/kss/esi/ktest/Hardwired/ESIinit.tst

Updating Settings

To change a setting, such as the default focus value, simply edit the ESIinit.tst file and update the corresponding line. For example, to change the default focus value, edit this block:
