Proposals for Keck engineering time should be submitted via email to Hien Tran, E-TAC chair, well in advance of the night requested (typically 3 months) in order to allow for lead time in the schedule. A call for proposals reminder will be sent out as reminder prior to E-TAC meetings. A general HTML form for proposals will be developed and linked below in the near future. Engineering time requests will be reviewed by the E-TAC on a quarterly basis (or thereabouts) and time will be awarded on a competitive basis. Please note that in the absence of compelling reasons for engineering use, observing time will be given back to science when it is considered the best use of telescope time.
