I think, we would like to keep getting allocated time for characterization and training with the system in NGS/LGS, plus work on PSF reconstruction. I would like to request 2 hours every (AO) engineering night. - NIRC2/OSIRIS performance monitoring in both NGS and LGS (photometry and astrometry). - Data collection for performance reconstruction project. We want to acquire data with NIRC2, save WFC data, calibration files, etc. - Investigate the performance of the system on the sky (e.g, same star, similar seeing, put NDs in NGS mode). - AO ops and system training for Ralf and other AO ops personnel. - Calibration for the r0 tool (part of the PSF reconstruction). - Photometric calibrations for the guider in NGS and LGS (and for the laser). Jason and Roger: Have we bought a new red filter for the guider? - Strehl versus wavelength (same star NGS and same LGS) with more emphasis on shorter band - Strehl versus TT magnitude, same star, LGS, various ND filters Thanks, David On 10/26/07 3:03 PM, "Marcos van Dam" wrote: Hi all, As you can see, we have already been awarded 1.5 nights in January. I intend to ask for 2 hours on Nov 24 to work out the kinks in the LBWFS software (if the new lenslets are in place, and they should be). Please let me know if anyone needs any other engineering time by Monday, and I will let Hien know. Thanks, Marcos
