- Latest News:
- Preamp Shipped 5/3/99 to UCLA
- Noise Testing completed 4/30/99 by C. Shelton. Noise performance meets goals.
- CARA is preparing to get spare preamp fabricated.
- Spare board will be built with MAX4187 op amps instead of 4186's to lower the bandwidth resulting in better stability. There is no penalty because the 4186 bandwidth is unnecessarily high for this application. The first board will be retrofitted after the spare is tested assuming it improves stability as expected.
