Notes
- CIT welcomes NASA observing
teams astronomers provided they receive clearance from NASA
first as described here.
- LBNL welcomes outside
astronomers provided they receive clearance as official LBNL
guests, enabling them to receive LBNL ID badges. The ID
badges are required for access to the lab through the security
gate, after hour access to the lab buildings, and to the
remote observing facility. Several weeks' advance notice will
be required to arrange access for non-LBNL personnel.
- UCB welcomes outside astronomers
provided that the facility is not scheduled for use. Requests
should be made at least one month in advance of the observing
run in order to ensure that support can be provided. A local
coordinator from the UCB astronomy department must be present
during observing, and can assist with observing during the
night.
- UCSB welcomes outside
astronomers provided that the facility is not scheduled for
use. Several weeks' advance notice will be required to
arrange access and insurance coverage for non-UCSB personnel.
- UCSC welcomes outside
astronomers provided that the facility is not otherwise
scheduled for use. Several weeks' advance notice will be
required to arrange access.
